Dental Care
Dental care
We offer Emax veneers and (Emax) zirconia crowns made of high-quality porcelain, as well as bridges, implants and other restorative treatments. Porcelain keeps its beautiful colour and, with good care, lasts 10 to 15 years on average. We deliberately do not use composite veneers, because composite can discolour over time — often within a year — due to coffee, tea or smoking.

Our treatments

Emax veneers are thin porcelain shells placed on the front of your teeth, with very little of the tooth being filed down. They are ideal for smaller corrections in shape, colour or position, and keep as much of your own tooth as possible.
Natural Look or Hollywood Look
The Hollywood Look gives a sleek, even and bright white smile. The Natural Look is more refined: the dentist adds subtle colour nuances and translucency, so the veneers are barely distinguishable from real teeth. You can also choose a whiter shade with the Natural Look.Do you have crooked teeth? Then we usually recommend crowns, or orthodontic treatment first if you prefer veneers.

A crown is a cap placed completely over the tooth. Because the crown covers the whole tooth, more of the tooth is filed down than with veneers. Crowns are suitable for larger corrections, damaged teeth or bigger changes in shape and position. The dentist can fully adjust the shape and colour to your wishes.
We offer zirconia crowns and Emax zirconia crowns. Emax zirconia crowns give a glossier, more natural result and keep their shine better over the years. This is the option most clients choose, and the one we recommend.
Bridges
Missing one tooth? Then a bridge is a reliable solution. Crowns are placed on the teeth on either side of the gap, with an artificial tooth in between that fills the space. The result looks natural and lets you chew comfortably again. Sometimes the dentist also connects crowns to each other for extra strength and a better distribution of chewing forces. -
An implant is an artificial titanium root that is placed in the jawbone, on which a crown, bridge or complete set of teeth is attached. Implants are a strong, safe and long-lasting solution for missing teeth.
Single implants
Missing one or several teeth? An implant is placed for each missing tooth or group of teeth. Treatment takes two visits: during the first visit the implant is placed, after which it needs about 3 months to grow firmly into the jawbone. During the second visit the crown is placed on the implant.All-on-4 / All-on-6 (titanium bar)
Missing all or most of your teeth in one jaw? Then a complete fixed set of teeth can be placed on just four or six implants, connected by a strong titanium bar for extra stability. During the healing period you wear temporary teeth, so you are never without teeth. Once the implants have healed, the final fixed set is placed. Unlike a denture, it stays fixed in your mouth.Sinus lift
In the upper jaw, the bone under the sinus is sometimes too thin to hold an implant. During a sinus lift, the sinus membrane is gently lifted and bone material is added underneath, creating enough bone to place the implant securely. Based on your X-rays, the dentist will tell you whether this is needed. -
Professional teeth whitening lightens your natural teeth by several shades for a brighter, fresher smile. The treatment is done at the clinic with a professional whitening gel.
Good to know: whitening only works on natural teeth, not on veneers or crowns. Planning veneers or crowns? Whiten first, so your new teeth can be matched to the right shade. Your teeth may feel a little sensitive for a few days afterwards; this is normal and passes quickly.
